I am an energetic, unique woman who embraces life outside the box. My personal tale is one of constant growth; I believe in reflecting on where I have been while indulging the curiosity of where I am going. Having navigated life with auditory processing disorder, I have learned to harness anxiety through awareness, acceptance, and firm personal boundaries.

As both an educator and an artist, I am devoted to the inquisitive mind. I love encouraging others-especially children-to move through their life with confidence, self-worth, and a healthy balance between effort and achievement. I treasure “trinkets of happiness,” whether experiential or physical; are held and felt. These lasting impressions help us reflect and move forward.

I am a woman with Mexican-American roots, enriched by growing up in the Southeast and later finding a home in Boulder, CO. Relocating to the Rockies at the age of twenty was a defining act of bravery that reshaped my constitution and unlocked a new sense of personal freedom. Today, I am a proud partner, parent, neighbor, teacher and artist. There is immense potential in truly knowing and loving who you are, and I find my peace balance this strong sense of self with infinite outdoors.
